The Euro-Log Group is further strengthening its strategic Turkish-Hungarian business relations, so the representatives of Ulusoy Holding, a dominant market leader group in Turkey, arrived in Budapest last week at Euro-Log's invitation.
The two companies have been in a strategic partnership for 3 years, their effective, growing and close cooperation is characterized by jointly developed sales and marketing strategies, innovation and the search for new investment opportunities. In this multi-day series of meetings, the Turkish party was represented on August 27th by Yildirim Sahinkanat, member of the Board of Directors of the giant Turkish logistics company Ulusoy Holding, and Ertunc Lacinel, general manager of Ulusoy Logistics.t.
Aimed at Turkish-Hungarian business relations, the meeting was initiated by Tamás Dunai, Managing Director of Euro-Log Logisztikai és Szolgáltató Kft (Euro-Log Logistics and Services Ltd) known as a logistics expert of eastern markets as well as Ákos Kovács, CEO with a central purpose to build new business relations and seek joint investment opportunities. On the occasion of this commercially and strategically important meeting, the management of Euro-Log and the Turkish partners visited the Commercial Counselor of the Turkish Embassy, the President of the Turkish-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as the President of the Turkish-Hungarian Businessmen's Association.
In the context of these commercially successful meetings, the Turkish partners received an overview of the Turkish-Hungarian trade relations, which have gained momentum in the past few years, and discussed the possibilities of further cooperation and investment based on current dynamic business relations. At the 3-day meeting, the Euro-Log Group further strengthened its strategic role in the region while searching for new connection points to expand groupage networks.
At the meeting, the two partners expanded their alliance with further opportunities for cooperation and as a consolidation of Turkish-Hungarian trade relations, they concluded a new agreement on better using Hungary as a distribution center as well as on a more active involvement of the foreign representations of Euro-Log Group as regards the Turkish-Ukrainian groupage traffic. Even at present, the Iraqi and Arab region is among the key markets of Euro-Log, and the group intends to further develop these towards the Northern Iraq region.
Their main objective is to develop a stop-gap "Corridor Network" with a significant potential in the region including the creation of a possible Turkish-Finnish channel involving the subsidiaries and strategic partners of the Euro-Log Group.
